Mission Statement inspired by-
Alternatives to Violence (AVP) Model
and Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord”
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11 is a verse from the Bible where God assures His people that He has plans for their welfare, not for harm, and promises them a hopeful future. This message was given to the Israelites during their exile in Babylon, emphasizing God's intention for their ultimate good despite their difficult circumstances.
AVP was a volunteered program offered to incarcerated women at Central California Womens Facility. Together, participants and facilitators created workshops tailored to the groups identified collective needs to address violence. It was through this particular project; that human to human root causes to violence, such as moral and mental injury were identified, approached, redesigned and by choice, exercised (personally practiced) to reflect and engage in healthy approaches to personal and interpersonal relationships.
A New Kind of Frees’ advisory approach is dedicated and is able to be tailored to exploring all individual, collective depths and values of quality community building defined by relationship while merging within a Victim First Principle approach aligned with agape love, rest, creativity, forgiveness-and laughter.
Prioritizing rest, emotional, mental, moral, individualized safety, needs and preferences, integrity, and trust is ANKOFs’ victim first principled wellness approach which can be accomplished by centering the rights, needs, and well-being of everyone through a lens of acceptance, non judgment , non threatening love.
Public health authorities like the U.S. Surgeon General, Center for Disease Control and Health and Human Services defines a healthy social environment to include engagement conditions and interactions that foster safe and meaningful social connections, reducing isolation and loneliness while promoting individual and community well-being.
How one perceives their quality of life is so innately personal. When we share our foundational values trustingly with others- there is a silent agreement we are safe. However the condition of our communities, social interactions and structures show we are not always safe, we see social disease of moral decay and injury. Injuries that contribute to the over all health of us all-
